A native Houstonian, Mari grew up in the Sugar Land area. After graduating from St. Agnes Academy, she continued her education at St. Edwards University in Austin, Texas. There, she earned her bachelor’s degree in International Business and Marketing. Maricella (“Mari”) learned early on that a regimen of good skin care will have positive, lasting results. Years of continuous research of skin care products and cosmetics led Mari to her career as a makeup artist and skin care consultant. After training as part of a team with a leading cosmetic firm in the Houston area, she created “Makeup by Mari LLC”.
