Davines Natural Tech line offer a wide range of treatments to cater to each clients wants and needs. From thinning hair to breakage, we have an in-salon and take home treatment for you. All of the Davines Natural Tech products work by nourishing, moisturizing and stimulating your scalp and hair making the fibers healthy, firm and shiny, without weighing down your hair. All of the Davines products are free of parabens and sulfates, consisting mainly of natural sourced ingredients from Italy.
Why you should avoid sulfate and parabens?
Parabens are chemicals that are present in several different types of beauty products, while sulfates can be found in toiletries such as soaps, toothpaste and body washes. While more research is needed on the subject, parabens have been associated with the risk of breast cancer, as a result of its estrogen-mimicking properties. Sulfates are the ingredient that causes the shampoo to lather and produce all those suds, but should be avoided because it is known to cause dryness, irritation, and possibly even hair loss. If you hair is colored, it will cause your hair color to fade. Both have products have been used in the beauty industry since the 50’s to help increase “shelf life” and preventing the growth of bacteria.
